EYE ON THE GROUND
A signed and numbered limited edition book
In 2008 after a night of heavy rainfall I shot my first reflection. At the time it felt like discovering a new world and Vancouver proved to be the perfect place to explore it. While most people in this city dreaded the rain, for me, it became a source of inspiration and another way of seeing. When sun broke through grey clouds, hunting for puddles was an obsession. Found objects turned into the focal point and passerby became candid subjects. The movement/distortion created by water were akin to textured brushstrokes and the richness of a painting.
In 2020 I ran a successful Kickstarter and produced, EYE ON THE GROUND, a collection of reflections from 2008-2020.
The book is also available as an NFT collection on Opensea. Acquisition will include a physical copy of the book.
